A unique coproduction workshop, C21's Hitmakers USA, is set to bring together top-level US entertainment executives with the UK and international production community to discuss new programming opportunities and partnership models.
The one-day event on October 10 at BAFTA in London, is a coproduction workshop designed to foster closer ties and more deals between the US and the international creative community with a series of keynote interviews and interactive sessions.
Keynote speakers include:

John Saade SVP alternative series, specials and late-night, ABC Entertainment.
These network and studio executives will focus on their programming initiatives for 2009 and how international partners can work with them.

An A-list of top US television executives will be in town to discuss their programming strategies and meet with UK and international producers and channels with a view to developing new programming initiatives together.
The US networks and cable channels are more open than ever to the prospect of collaboration. From the recent pick-up of the Power drama Robinson Crusoe by NBC to adaptations of Israeli dramas and new forms of reality from Endemol and RDF, the doors are open.
C21s Hitmakers USA will also give US executives the chance to meet with the UK production community en masse to uncover the Next Big Thing from this unique market.
